Battles that have already been won are increasingly called into question in today’s political landscape. Human rights opponents are gaining ground at the expense of LGBTQI+ freedom around the world, including Sweden. If our basic human rights are in danger, so is our liberal democracy.
Are we going to stand by and let this continue? No.
Join Fores and RFSL Youth in a panel discussion on which political reforms are needed to defend human rights and our liberal democracy. What has been missing in politics to let this democratic decline go on? What can we learn from history in Sweden and in the United States?
