Tillsammans med Amerikanska ambassaden i Stockholm, Ukrainska ambassaden i Sverige och förlaget Bite the Bullet Press arrangerar Fores ett högaktuellt seminarium om Lisa Bjurwalds senaste bok “Slava Ukraini! Kvinnors motstånd under Rysslands krig”.
In a co-joint seminar together with the U.S. Embassy in Stockholm, the Embassy of Ukraine in the Kingdom of Sweden and the publishing house Bite the Bullet Press, the green and liberal think tank Fores welcomes you to a seminar on Lisa Bjurwald´s new book Slava Ukraini!. The book focuses on a group that is often forgotten in the discussion on Putin´s war of aggression: the Ukranian women. In the book, Bjurwald highlights women’s own stories of their sufferings, but also their resistance.
The topics of the conversation will touch upon the women who have stayed in Ukraine as well as the women who have come to Sweden. What challenges are they facing? How can Sweden support vulnerable women in Ukraine and Ukrainian women in Sweden?
